We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker in our Stirling House.
At Common Thread, we provide safe residential care and a therapeutic environment for all our looked after young people.
We’re looking for nurturing people who are passionate and committed to making a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people and have the drive to grow and develop in a professional environment. Demonstrable experience of supporting a team to reach high standards is essential.

Shift patterns which promote healthy psychological and physical recovery. Our model for full time workers being 48 hour shift, three days off, 48 hours shift and four days off. Working 10 days out of 28 day rota. 5 Return journeys in a 4 week period.
Qualifications preferable but not essential
- SVQ 4 Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 9
- Any practice qualification in the manager category
Each working day at Common Thread will be different from the last. Your main responsibility will to be look after the wellbeing of our young people but your day-to-day tasks will change from going out on activities with young people, taking them to school or family contact etc. For further information please look at our application back on our website.02.
