We want you to become Team Leaders/Experts for when we launch in March 2023, likely to spend first 6 x months commuting to France working on our Haliade - 1 to assemble the first offshore wind farm in France, to assimilate in to our team and the GE Renewables business and importantly learn/commission the new Haliade - X.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Within a team of contracted offshore or onshore WT assembly technicians, be the GE technician or supervisor in charge of making sure that the GE assembly process is followed and providing specific expertise on the GE turbine
• Execute the installation jobs offshore and on the assembly sites.
• Banksman experience, Heavy Lifting Experience.
• Execute Mechanical and Electrical completion jobs on tower sections, team coordination, subcontractors’ supervision, jobs execution.
• Warehousing and maintenance of tools, control subcontractors performing maintenance operations on installation tools
• Management and organization of equipment and tooling for the jobs.
• Guarantee the fulfilment of EHS rules on site, further the Security and Health program Analysis and KPI’S correction

Technical skills / competencies:

• Significant experience in Wind Turbine assembly project site construction or offshore large construction projects.
• Heavy Lifting and banking experience.
• Ability to implement quality assurance and environmental processes
• Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of offshore works.
• Mechanical knowledge, cables installation and connection..
• Familiar with the use of Hydraulic and manual torque wrenches.
• Ability to start and operate WTG systems such as Pitch system, Yaw system, Cooling circuits, elevator, hydraulic system.
• PC knowledge of Microsoft applications
• EU Work Permit

Technical skills / competencies:

• Mechanical and/or Electric, hydraulic systems operation knowledge.
• Basic Knowledge of software tools.
• Quality Management Tools
• Reporting.
• Oral and writing English fluent
• French or Spanish speaking are a plus

Behavioral skills / competencies:

• Able to manage physical jobs (climbing, handling)
• Able to work at heights, Helicopter transfers, Vessel transfers
