RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a full-time position that will provide administrative support to the Global Commercial Operations function. Reporting into the Global Commercial Operations Senior Manager with a dotted line into the Global Commercial Operations Coordinator this role will contribute towards the delivery of robust and efficient processes, reporting and system support.
System:
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of Motion’s Investment Management System, providing UAT support where required;
- Assist markets with their master data requirements in the IMS;
- Support the Global Commercial Operations Coordinator with the management and documentation of IMS user access permissions
Reporting:
- Update and maintain key information regarding Motion's investments in the Global Programming Slate and ensure the timely communication around content approvals to key stakeholders;
- Assist the Global Commercial Operations team with reporting as required
Process:
- Assist with the process of onboarding new markets;
- Support the Global Commercial Operation Coordinator with tracking the daily progress of deals as they move through the IMS approval workflow, highlighting potential bottlenecks and following up where appropriate;
- Assist with the management and tracking of deal amendment requests;
- Develop an understanding of the deal review and approval process;
- Maintain up to date records of Motion’s global contacts and the different distribution groups;
- Assist with the updates and maintenance of the Commercial Operations process documentation to ensure it is fit for purpose
General:
- Provide support with adhoc projects, reporting and administrative duties that may arise from being part of a busy team;
- Engage with the ongoing development of the business to ensure that this role, processes and systems adapt and develop sufficiently to support its growth;
- Training will be encouraged, to build expertise and effectiveness. As this role is part of a team supporting local markets globally, from time to time some out of hours work will be required
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
You will have:
- The ability to understand the nature of Motion’s business and role in the industry;
- An understanding and/or interest in the global TV landscape;
- A calm and rigorous approach to problem solving;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A willingness to collaborate with the wider team but also be able to work proactively and independently;
- Confidence when dealing with new systems and processes;
- An enthusiastic and can-do attitude;
- The ability to deal sensitively with commercial information;
- Previous administration experience, ideally in a similar role or company;
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Previous experience working in an international environment would be advantageous
