Our Canada Gas Business Unit is currently seeking a Analyst, Cybersecurity who will enable the 5-year business strategy through definition of its digital and data roadmap with a focus on cybersecurity based in Calgary, AB.
Our Canada Gas Business Unit is currently seeking a Analyst, Cybersecurity who will enable the 5-year business strategy through definition of its digital and data roadmap with a focus on cybersecurity based in Calgary, AB.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital & Data Governance, this position will ensure cybersecurity risks are mitigated by implementing and maintaining a risk management strategy that aligns with corporate standards and programs. Partnering with the Cyber Security Office (CSO) and Information Services (IS) this position will complete risk assessments, recommend improvements to existing system and related infrastructure, and design security solutions to mitigate threats.
What you'll do
- Facilitate development of digital and data roadmaps supporting Canada Gas 5-year business strategy, identifying highest value opportunities and defining target capabilities and outcomes
- Coordinate the implementation of a cybersecurity risk management plan that eliminates vulnerabilities and maintains a desired maturity level to company cybersecurity standards
- Perform cybersecurity risk assessments on existing or new digital systems and create plans to reduce or eliminate risks
- Liaise with Business Partners and IS to ensure new digital solutions meet company cybersecurity standards
- Participate in the annual Canada Gas digital investment planning process, prioritizing, and rationalizing portfolio of opportunities against business and digital roadmap outcomes
- Coordinate digital proof of concept/pilot activities for portfolio, aligning efforts and value across delivery teams
- Collaborate, share, and reused digital solutions from other business units to accelerate value delivery
- Monitor and optimize portfolio OM&A spend against long term Roadmaps
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in a related field
- 6 years of related industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management
- Strong facilitation skills, must be able to lead meetings efficiently, encourage healthy discussions to gather required information to make decisions, and achieve the meeting objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Cybersecurity industry certification (CISSP, CEH, GIAC etc.)
- Working knowledge and experience in cyber security vulnerability scanning tools
- Working understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/O365)
- Proven experience in digital and data innovation using Design Thinking techniques
