Terry de Gunzburg is an industry legend who, over the course of the past 30 years, has been changing the face of beauty through the invention of countless products and formulas, including the iconic Baume de Rose lip balm. Today, BY TERRY offers customers revolutionary foundations, innovative mascaras, and long-lasting lipstick formulas, as well as a 'couture' beauty line of bespoke cosmetics.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and be part of a fast paced and dynamic cosmetics business.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly and annual group management reporting process
  • Group consolidation, P&L, and balance sheet ownership
  • Group forecasting and budgeting process
  • Managing a finance team of 3 staff and outsourced services
  • Ownership of cashflow management for the group
  • Business partnering – working closely with the commercial, marketing, e-com, and leadership team
  • Compliance – filing of statutory accounts, vat returns, corporation tax returns for the group
  • Systems – ensure continuous improvement in accounting systems
  • Controls and risk management
  • Coordination and management of the year end group audit
  • Ad-hoc finance tasks as and when required

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • 2-3 years post qualification experience
  • ·Experience in multi-currency consolidation and group reporting including statutory accounts
  • FX exposure desirable and intercompany balances
  • Experience of managing and leading a small team
  • High level of excel and accounting system knowledge, ideally NetSuite
  • Experience in data analysis; extracting, manipulating, and interpreting data for decision making
  • French language desired but not essential
  • Team player and excellent communicator – can build relationships with both financial and non-financial people at all levels
  • Flexible, organised, hands on, able to meet strict deadlines and excellent attention to detail
  • Resilient with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
