This role is all about making sure we've got top-notch data flowing smoothly. From building pipelines to transform and load data from different sources, to crafting and rolling out data products for our retail teams – it's all about keeping the data game strong and accurate.
A day in the life of a Data and Reporting Manager will involve:
- Sharing data insights, streamlining processes, and automating tasks.
- Teaming up with stakeholders, analysing data, and creating insightful reports.
- Crafting user-friendly data tools, gathering feedback, and meeting expectations.
- Setting up request system, maintaining data processes, and ensuring quality.
- Leading new data projects, advising on collection, and following guidelines.
- Helping teammates, following policies, and sticking to Red Cross values.
- Guiding the team and staying updated on plans.
- Documenting processes, use Python/SQL, and contributing in team meetings.
To be a successful Data and Reporting Manager, you’ll need:
- Rock BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), ace data modelling and ETL.
- Excellent communication skills to wok with stakeholders and defuse conflicts.
- To code Python, SQL wizard, Excel whizz and know EPoS systems.
- To be super detail-focused, uber-organized, number-crunching expert.
- Project guru, diversity champion and ready to hit the road.
