Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Manager to lead our technical function based out of our Stokesley facility.
The Role
You will be responsible for defining, implementing and ensuring the site's compliance to quality, food safety and regulatory procedures, assuring that current business practices are continuously improving to meet business objectives.
Being the first point of contact for all technical and quality related leadership queries, we will look to you to provide both scientific and technical advice, along with support and guidance to the site operations team in various areas such as; site raw materials, operations, process, NPD, engineering, hygiene, planning and warehousing.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrable background in a technical leadership role within the food manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to prepare technical reports
- Background of working with various industry regulatory bodies
- If possible, hold an understanding of process engineering and continuous improvement techniques
- Excellent attention to detail alongside analytical and diagnostic skills
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
