Data Analyst
Citywire is currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our experienced and growing Technology team. You will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and helping them with the data they need to achieve their goals. We’re looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
As Data Analyst you will be involved in:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and help provide them with the data they need to achieve their goals.
- Extracting data from underlying datasets and producing appropriate reporting solutions
- Analysing and gaining insight from data to understand what it shows and how it can help drive business decisions
- Working closely with the Data Engineering team to make sure data is in the correct structure for analysing and reporting, and with the Development teams to ensure the right data is captured at source
- Empowering users within the business to become data champions in their own departments
- Helping drive engineering projects based on business data needs
Job specific skills / technical skills / requirements
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues of all levels
- A strong analytical approach to data with the ability to analyse complex datasets, comfortable using raw data to build reports.
- Proficient in data visualisation – expressing data in easy-to-understand formats
Experience using/working with:
- Manipulating data using SQL.
- Google Big Query
- Visulatisation tools such as Looker Studio or equivalent
- NoSQL Databases
- AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms
- Excel, Googlesheets
- Power Query
