Job description

Due to significant growth we require a Warehouse Operative to work in our drinks canning factory based on Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot.

This is a permanent, full-time role. Working days are Monday to Friday, 10.00am - 6.00pm with overtime available.

Must have a forklift and a clean driving licence.

We offer 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays). You will be enrolled onto our pension scheme once you have successfully completed a 3-month probationary period.

This role is very much a proactive role. The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and with autonomy, whilst maintaining quality standards is very much required.

The Company

We are Bottled and Canned, we're a specialist contract packer where we pack brand owners’ drinks and condiments into bottles, cans and jars.

We work with small independents to multinational companies helping to pack their drinks and condiments in our state-of-the-art production site on Heathfield Industrial Estate, near Newton Abbot. We predominantly pack drink-based products which include still drinks, carbonated drinks, alcoholic drinks; beers, ciders and mixers.

Each customer is unique and offer their own set of challenges; no two days are ever the same. We are customer focused and pride ourselves on providing a first-class service and excellent quality throughout our process and finished goods.

The Role

This all-encompassing role will cover a wide range of responsibilities across all areas of our warehouses.

The Candidate

The small size of the company means that you will need to be hands-on, pragmatic, and flexible in your approach, and in return you will be able to participate in and shape the growth of the business.

The job role involves:

· Loading and offloading deliveries and collections

· Booking goods in onto our WMS system

· Using the forklift

· Putting goods away in the warehouse

· Picking goods prior to production using good stock rotation

· Preparing finished goods

· Cycle counting

· Ensure warehouse and mezzanine areas are tidy at all times

· General warehouse duties

· Physically able to move and handle goods and all work requires standing or moving for the full period of the shift

· Able to work independently and as part of a team
