Job Vacancy: Minibus Driver
Part-Time driver, £10.42 ph, working from Farlington.
ANA Treatment Centres provides residential treatment for those with substance misuse and associated addiction problems and aims to assist clients begin a life free from reliance on drugs and alcohol.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated minibus/car driver / lone worker holding a current, valid driving licence with a category D1 entitlement if their driving test was passed after 1st Jan 1997 or a category B entitlement if passed before then.
Applicants must have at least 3 years accident / conviction free driving. An enhanced DBS Check will be undertaken.
The role requires you to:
· Be available for pre-arranged client collections from locations around the country ( these may involve overnight hotel stays).
· To take clients out on pre-arranged weekly outings using the companies 17 seater minibus, ensuring the safety & comfort of passengers, assisting passengers entering & leaving the vehicle according to their needs and being aware of relevant minibus legislation
· Ensure the minibus is roadworthy, checking water / oil / petrol / seatbelts / tyres weekly, maintaining cleanliness inside and out, ensuring first aid / emergency equipment is in place and current and reporting any accident or incident with appropriate documentation.
· Have an empathy with the client group and be part of a team that is dedicated to helping clients start their lives again. An understanding of treatment for addiction would be an advantage but not essential as training and support will be given as part of the induction process
