Position Summary:
As an IT business analyst Co-Op, you will be responsible for assisting with the analysis and documentation of business requirements, system specification, and other related
documents. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, gather and analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Essential Functions:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications
- Conducting research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives
- Assisting in the development of user acceptance testing plans
- Supporting end-users in the adoption of new systems and processes
- Creating and maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and other related materials
- Contributing to the development of training materials and user guides
Qualification:
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Required to possess specific visons abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and can work independently and as part of a team.
