Our team is a key enabler for Airbus to reach competitive costing targets for all programs and pricing agreements with suppliers (new contracts, claims, pricing models) both NRC (Non Recurring Cost for Jigs, Tools, Industrialisation & programming Costs) and RC (Recurring Costs), Make and Buy. We develop and maintain parametric & digital models and costing data allowing us to answer to costing requests at all stages of the aircraft development and series life.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Support the development, implementation and documentation of costing models and references for Machining . These models and references are used across the Airbus organization (Make and Buy) in early design phases and for fully defined work packages.

• Support the harmonization of models for all cost engineers across all the airbus plants.

• Improve the models based on feedback users and manufacturing engineers experts.

• Machining estimations on operational cases.
  

ABOUT YOU

• Strong experience in Machining

• General project management skills are recommended.

• Any knowledge in other manufacturing processes would be a plus like Sheet metal forming, Forging, Casting, Composite (ATL, FP, RTM, LRI, Hand Lay up), 3D printing or Assembly process.

• An Engineering degree or equivalent experience
