•In pursuit of IT Certification or Technical/Bachelors Degree within a relevant technical field such as Computer Network Engineering, Computing or similar with 2024 graduation date
•English language Proficiency, both written and verbal
•Holds the right to work in the United Kingdom before or by the commencement of the internship
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Interns to join our expanding team in Greater London.
As an intern, you will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network. You will help ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers.
Interns will participate in our 12 week internship program in our Greater London area Data Centers.
Key job responsibilities:
• Move and implement large enterprise equipment
• Patch cabling between equipment
• Install Fibre and Copper cabling
• Ensure proper standards are maintained for cabling and racks
• Use material handling tools and equipment in guidance of safety regulations
Physical Requirements:
· Walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch. Work at heights and from ladders.
· Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 kilograms unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 16 kilograms or more.
