Coffee Shop Assistant (Retail Assistant)
Location: Northampton – Work Bridge Coffee Shop
Salary from £20,535 per Annum
Hours: Full time fully flexible, working weekends on a rota shift pattern
St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.
Working in the Coffee Shop here at St Andrew’s Healthcare Work Bridge you will fulfil the day-to-day tasks and activities within the Coffee Shop
About the Role:
Duties will included food preparation, cooking or baking, serving customers, cash handling and cleaning duties to keep our Coffee Shop to the highest cleanliness standard.
We are looking for people with a proactive, flexible approach who are passionate about delivering high standards and excellent customer service.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Excellent Customer service skills
- A knowledge of retail with demonstrative experience
- Excellent listening , communication and people skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to organise self and others
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Good planning skills and ability to work to specified timescales
- Able to work under pressure and manage priorities appropriately
