Data Centre of Excellence Manager Chief of staff

We are looking for Centre of Excellence Chief of staff to help set up the frameworks and running of a brand-new Data Centre of Excellence this bank is setting up

This role reports into the Director and Head of Data Analytics

This Data Centre of Excellence Lead will be focused on setting up frameworks and best practice, and wider communications of the data centre of excellence

This role is not focused on technical capability or people management

Role details

Title: Data Centre of Excellence Lead/ Manager, Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACE)

• Data Office & Data Management Department
• Permanent role
• Based in London- Liverpool Street station 2 days a week with home working hybrid
• Salary £75-110,000 dependant on your skills and experience
• Focus: establish the new Analytics & Insights Team within the EMEA Data Office, drive the transformation of Analytics, Insight and Data Science
• requirements: experience in a data centre of excellence or data analytics team, alongside strong stakeholder management skills

As the Data Centre of Excellence Chief of staff, you will be working with the Head of Data Analytics to establishing a centre of excellence and you will be the manager for this. This role is stakeholder facing,

A key part of your role is to put in place the following

• Designing, creating and setting up best practice and guidance
• templates
• standards
• Training and Learning development- create videos/ training courses/ thought leadership etc
• creating data analytics job family with job specifications/ onboarding, setting up internships etc
• helping to sign post communications
• Talent management
• Thought management
• Engagement and communications around the wider business
• community training and support

Longer term, you will also be a ley voice across data analysis to drive adaption, how do we drive self-serve strategy and setting up a process of how we will work with other teams to help them deliver their analytics
