PR Manager EMEA – RGG Studio and other SEGA IP

Based at Sega HQ, Brentford, West London.

Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office, 3 days flexible.

The EMEA PR Manager is an exciting, newly created role, reporting to the Head of Communications. As EMEA PR Manager you will work closely with our respective EMEA Publishing team and respective Brand teams to represent and promote SEGA titles and products, utilising our network of international distribution teams and PR agencies, as well as leading appropriate projects and events.

Why You:


You are a Communications or PR Manager with considerable experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry on a regional or international scope. You will have a passion for and understanding of the gaming industry, and an interest in Japanese culture. Essentially, you thrive working in a dynamic, team environment and are capable of managing relationships with a diverse stakeholder base including teams in Brand, Community, and Commercial, as well as external agency partners.


Responsibilities include:


  • Play a key role in the development, refinement, and implementation of EMEA PR plans with SEGA’s distribution network and PR agencies.
  • Work closely with international PR teams, Product Managers, Community Managers, and Sales teams to maintain a synchronised global approach.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the global Brand and PR teams to ensure timely asset delivery, code distribution, and successful feature pitching.
  • Work closely with European and Australian distributors, partners, and agencies to ensure timings and assets are scheduled to secure maximum coverage for each title.
  • Play a key role in the planning and organisation of press events (UK, EMEA, Australia) for titles where required.
  • Proactively compile coverage reports with the support of analytics to ensure internal communications remain strong and informative.
  • Use a combination of coverage data and creativity to produce innovative ways of securing coverage that keep our communications fresh and interesting.
  • Work with the U.S. Community Manager and appropriate agencies and distributors to facilitate organic influencer coverage for non-English markets.
  • Assist the wider Marketing Team with the organisation and implementation of key consumer and trade events across EMEA.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally, you would have 3-5 years of experience in a PR or Comms role within the gaming or entertainment industry working with international consumer brands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
  • Project management & PR planning experience including event logistics.
  • Experience navigating environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating global coordination with Japanese IP (gaming or other) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Must be able and willing to travel internationally for meetings and events.
