Are you a Motion Graphics Designer, a night owl with a passion for news, current affairs and entertainment. Would you enjoy playing a key role in the programme output, working in a vibrant newsroom in the hours leading up to live programme transmission. If you are, this exciting new Night Designer role we have created specifically and exclusively to work overnight on GMB could be for you.
We are looking for a Night-time Graphic Designer to work overnight on ITV’s award winning breakfast programme Good Morning Britain. As part of the vibrant ITV Daytime Design team you will report to the Head of Design and work alongside other Designers & Lead Designers who will work nights on a rotating shift pattern.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Keen interest in news & current affairs.
In depth knowledge of GMB & the programme’s output
Attention to detail
Excellent design skills
Calm under pressure in a high energy environment
Experience in live programmes (ideally news)
Excellent typography & infographics skills
Can-do attitude
A proven track record working as a motion Graphic Designer within the broadcast industry which can be displayed using a portfolio and showreel of work.
In depth operational experience of Adobe software – After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator essential. Knowledge of Cinema 4D and Avid Maestro an advantage.
Experience of working in a live studio environment. Live News experience would be ideal.
Experience of working to strict transmission deadlines.

Ability to grasp the needs of the programme teams and provide creative solutions.
Exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to develop positive working relationships.
Keeps abreast of emerging technologies particularly design programmes
Proven ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team
Accept critique and guidance from H.O.D, Lead Designers and Senior Programme teams
Ability to manage and take ownership of workload
