Job description
Key Duties: Receiving patients, staff and ward visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, adhering to patient confidentiality. Ensure that all patient details and activity is recorded accurately and promptly using the Patient Administration system (Oasis), to register new patients when necessary and raise new case notes in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. Negotiate follow up appointments for patients prior to discharge. Ensure that patient case notes are available, creating event notes when needed.
Maintain case notes in a tidy manner, filing patient documents in accordance with Trust policy. Ensure that all case note movements are tracked on Oasis. Preparing event notes for scanning in a timely manner and to be confident in EZ note use.
