Job description
Flaurel and Hardy Gardening Services look after over 150 gardens on a regular basis within a 10 mile radius of Haworth/Oakworth. We pride ourselves by offering a friendly and reliable service to every individual customer. Our customers’ gardens vary in size and complexity, making every visit unique.
Working hours will vary depending on weather/demand with our working days starting from 08:00 until 17:00 at the height of the season.
You must be a good communicator and be willing to use an array of power tools including strimmers and hedge trimmers.
Responsibilities:
You will work as part of our team and be responsible for general garden maintenance including:
- Lawn mowing
- Hedge cutting,
- Strimming
- Edging of borders
- Weeding
- Tidying overgrown shrubs and trees
- Maintenance of flowers, bushes, trees and shrubs
- Planting pots and planters
- Respecting equipment and keeping it clean
Skills and Experiences:
- Must be motivated and reliable
- Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers.
- Good communicator
- Friendly and approachable
- Willing to use petrol/battery operated power tools including lawn mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers. Experience preferable but not essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
