Role Summary
Operating and maintaining the required production chemical processes in a safe and competent manner
Core Responsibilities
Competent to set up two of the above processes, monitor and maintain performance throughout the shift
Inclusive of daily plant checks, reporting breakdowns or unsafe conditions.
Manage process chemistry to ensure equipment operational parameters are maintained.
Recording of process performance shift logs and plant maintenance documentation.
Product Inspection ensuring process quality is achieved.
Undertake and complete prescribed TPM/PPM tasks as required.
Safety / Processes: - Understanding of risks involved on a chemicals site: compliant with all procedures in order to operate and maintain the production chemical processes in a safe and competent manner 15
Safety / People: Compliant with working practices for all HSE and site regulations
Engage with Continuous Improvement initiatives to support High Performance System activities, especially with regard to 6S standards
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
Education Level: (Required): Secondary School Education to include a good standard of English and Maths
Field of Study/Area of Experience
2-4 years of experience in within a manufacturing environment - chemical manufacturing or metal processing site
would be advantageous
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities List
- Previous experience within a demanding manufacturing environment, with manual handling experience
- Experience of monitoring processes, taking action where appropriate, to ensure process runs smoothly during the shift, and quality is maintained

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or
warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
