What you'll be doing
We are looking to recruit a Paralegal on a 3-month fixed term contract to join our Commercial Litigation team. You will primarily be based in our London office but may need to travel to other offices. Our practice has extensive experience of acting for public and private sector commercial clients on a broad spectrum of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration and ADR, providing a first-class service to clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Primarily you will be assisting the team with a specific case which is scheduled to go to trial next year and your work will include reviewing documents, drafting chronologies, letters, collating information for experts and counsel, preparing bundles and exhibits in addition to any other tasks which may be required to progress the case.
In addition you may be:
- Assisting the team with advising a mixed client base of commercial sector clients on a broad range of commercial disputes;
- Drafting court proceedings, witness statements and affidavits
- Preparing trial bundles
- Progressing and managing cases that proceed to trial by complying with Court directions such as disclosure and instructing counsel
- Actively participating in marketing initiatives
- Participating in firm-wide, office and departmental training sessions
What you'll need

Experience and qualifications
- Excellent academic record;
- A-Level Law/LLB/GDL/LPC graduate with experience of advising on a broad range of litigation matters preferably commercial
- Experience and interest in marketing;
- An ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision – a self-starter
