Regent Home Care is a small family run care company looking for carers to help care for service users in the watford and three rivers areas. we have been providing our services to the community since 2008 and take great pride in our work for the community we consider home. Our Service focuses on Elder, Adult disability and Adult Autism care but also see people for a variety of other reasons.
Our Recruitment is focused on people who have the right attitude. Proactive and respectful towards those we care for. We can train you how to do a specific task but that attitude is fundamental to a good carer!
We are looking for people to join our team who genuinely care about their community and want to help us ensure the best quality care for our Service Users.
We beleive that our staff retention rate speaks for us when it comes to why you should choose us over other companies in the care sector as we retain over 20% more staff than the industry average, meaning when the vast majority of carers work with us, they feel like we're a service worth sticking with!
We only operate within the WD postcodes, from Millend to Garston, and try to keep rounds limited to a single neighbourhood to ensure minimal travel is required between visits allowing our team to focus on care rather than how to best avoid traffic between calls.
We also hold contracts with Herts Social Services, NHS CCG, NHS Mental Health and private clients meaning we not only have an abundance of work but that much of that work is guarenteed and government backed meaning we can always gaurentee your hours.
Our service is 24/7 so we can offer work to fit around whatever your personal and family commitments may be.
Okay, Okay.... I know what you're thinking, thats all well and good but what are the key facts?
here you are:
- As long as you have the right attitude then we want YOU. we offer all training in house.
- £13.64 is our lowest hourly rate for care work, No Tricks. its higher for weekends, higher still for Bank holidays (and thats not even mentioning the Primary and Senior rates!?!)
-35p per mile (first call to last call) and an extra 15p per mile for if you have a passenger
- Experience is always appreciated but not mandatory here. All training provided in house and worked around your personal availabilty (plus paid at £9.50 an hour)
-£100 welcome bonus once you start working in the community
-Localised working, we only work in WD postcodes and most rounds are centred around a specific postcode e.g. WD19or WD18, WD25 or WD3
-Weekday, Weekend, Evening or Morning work available. even overnights if your really commited
-We offer 16, 21, 28, 35 and, if preffered, 0 houred contracts. your choice so you can build your work around your life and family. Granted if you want a higher houred contract then occasional weekend work is mandatory (sorry guys, theres always a catch)
-No hidden fees! All DBS & Uniform costs paid for by us!
