PR & Marketing Manager
Salary £45,000+
PR & Marketing Manager with proven experience in hospitality PR & Marketing. A commercially astute, creative and strategic thinker who can manage a small team, is motivated by challenge and can multi task!
Key Responsibilities
MARKETING & BRAND AWARENESS:
- Oversees social media, including:
- The content, quality and growth of the hotel’s social media pages
- Online advertising
- Develops and executes persuasive, targeted marketing campaigns with analytical reporting, always keeping in mind the brand and business objectives, and our brands’ positioning on the market
- Plans and creates promotions and packages (together with the relevant departments) including occupancy, three restaurants, gift vouchers and spa with a multi-channel approach to all activities
- Oversees all marketing activities related to advertisement and sales promotion
- Maintains the content & quality scores of all OTAs and other online channels where the hotel and its assets are present
- Analyses the market to identify the target audience and current market trends
- Manages the marketing budget, keeping track of actual versus planned budgets with input and recommendations as necessary
PR
- Manages the external PR Company, overseeing:
- The building of impactful public relations strategies
- Our public image
- Media enquiries
- Ensuring adequate media coverage
- Cultivating strong relationships with media guests
- All communication materials including interviews, press releases, speeches and award nominations
- Develops and maintains active contacts, overseeing:
- Media & influencer hotel visits, including coordinating all media visits and meeting with media guests
- Supplier collaborations
- Charity collaborations
- Tourist board
BRANDING
- Ensures the hotel websites and App are up to date and keeping the sites dynamic for internet related exposure and advertising
- Ensures the correct policy and brand standards are followed by the hotel in all marketing collateral, advertising, e-commerce, signage and printed materials
- Takes responsibility for giving creative direction for all advertising production (online & offline), and photo and video production, marketing & operational collaterals
- Works with the People Team on the branding of the company intranet
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or public relations managerial roles
- Outstanding analytical skills—being able to foresee challenges and come up with solutions
- In-depth understanding of social media
- First-class written and spoken communication
- Proof reading and editing skills
- Budget management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience of Adobe design software and project management software useful
