Job Description:
- Responsible for welcoming new and repeat guests every visit
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items so you can make meal suggestions and answer questions
- Verify each guest order for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- Operate cash register and must be able to count money and give change correctly
- Assist with front line food preparation procedures such as packaging
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products
- Must be able to work with others and communicate effectively with cooks and managers in a busy restaurant environment
- Ability to listen, communicate and work well with others in a busy restaurant environment
- Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Count register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be clean, neat, and well groomed
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills to work with customers and other employees
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles
- Preferred: Fluent in English and Spanish
