Our company provides our customers with mobility and independence and as a Mobility Engineer you will play a key part in helping to maintaining this for our customers. In your role you will carry out repairs, maintenance, fault finding, adjustments, modifications and more on a wide range of mobility equipment. We are looking for a diligent individual who is as good with customers as they are with their spanners. In this customer facing role you will have to be flexible and be able to work as part of a team, or on your own to complete jobs to a high standard whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels at all times.
Roles and responsibilities:
· You will conduct engineering work on a range of Mobility Products (in the workshop or at customer’s homes) including:
o Product servicing – completing annual product services and inspections, identifying issues and relaying them back to your customer
o Fault finding – finding the root cause of a problem and offering solutions to your customer
o Parts replacement – conducting repairs to keep our customers mobile
· You will conduct external survey’s / assessments for products such as stairlifts with support from your showroom(s)
· You will take responsibility for your work/jobs ensuring they are correctly billed and recorded electronically
· You will take responsibility for your workshop and vehicle ensuring company standards are maintained at all times.
· You will assist the showroom(s) with deliveries when required as well as covering occasional shifts – you will be required to learn all showroom duties

· Engineering/Technician Experience (Required)
· Mobility/Care Industry Experience (Preferred but not required)
· Full Driving License (Required)
Physically Fit (Required) - This role involves heavy lifting.
You will be based in Peterborough and Cambridge.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
