Capgemini Engineering are looking for an experienced MBSE Engineer with a passion for Aerospace to support a Leading, transnational Commercial Aerospace Client.
The initial client work covers the implementation of MBSE at all stages of the system lifecycle, from concept definition to in-service support. It covers a range of domains including product, industrial system and process modelling, from supporting high level strategy decisions including toolset integration to method development and practical model implementation.
As an MBSE consultant on a Commercial Aerospace contract within Capgemini, you will be working alongside some of the top experts in the country on one of the largest and most complex client engagements within the sector. Job Responsibilities
- Communicating the underlying principles of MBSE to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Providing technical leadership and authoritative advice in the adoption of an MBSE approach.
- Proposing MBSE solutions to address client’s needs including framework improvements.
- Supporting live systems engineering projects in the adoption of MBSE based on client needs.
- Developing and configuring MBSE toolsets, setting up projects, establishing traceability between artifacts, and assisting with toolset integration.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of desired outcomes and growth of the account.
- Contribute to the team capability development and share knowledge and expertise with the rest of the MBSE team.
- Knowledge capitalization, support, and mentoring of more junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- Experience in using MBSE tools such as Cameo System Modeler / Magic Draw / CATIA Magic
- Experience with MBSE frameworks like Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD, CORE
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and using an MBSE model.
- Experience in the adoption of SysML modelling language, industry-standard MBSE frameworks, and tools in an engineering project
- Experience working in the aerospace/defence industry
- Experience working in an engineering context (mechanical, electrical, software, systems).
- Experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management and system design process (including system and sub-system specification)
