Evergreen, through a wonderful team of staff and volunteers offers a wide range of both free volunteer-led and paid for regulated services, designed to meet the identified needs of local people.

We will encourage opportunities for you to develop your skills and offer a 12-week foundation programme to enable you to work towards gaining the Care Certificate qualification, and NVQs in Health & Social Care. This will provide you with the principles and standards essential for this role, the importance of best practice and CQC guidelines and regulations. In addition, we will provide you with access to our training suite with the over 90+ accredited courses.

- Ideally you will come from a health care background with a minimum of 6 months experience, although we can provide full training for the right candidate,
- Have or prepared to complete The Care certificate within a set timeframe,
- Ideally have or working towards NVQ level 2 in Health and social care,
- Be caring, dedicated and have a flexible approach.
- Work well within a team.
- Have the ability to work alone.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
· You must hold a current full driving licence have a road worthy vehicle and be insured for business use as you will use your car for work.
· The successful applicant for this post will be subject to standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Duties to include; Personal care, Medication support, Companionship, Respite service, Pop-in calls, Meal preparation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week
Salary: £10.20-£13.20 per hour
