EHC Coordinator: SEND PFA Assessment Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the SEND Preparing for Adulthood Statutory
assessment team. Planning for a successful transition to adulthood will require you to work with a range of education, health and social care services, negotiating bespoke arrangements and support for young people up to 25 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

As the key officer managing the statutory process you will be actively engaging with young people, parents/carers and professionals to co-produce person centred, high quality EHCP’s while working to statutory timescales. You will need to have the ability to analyse complex reports and write high quality, evidence based, and outcome focused statutory compliant EHCP’s. The role also involves you reviewing EHCP’s and updating them in relation to preparing for adulthood.
You will need to be well-organised, able to work independently, have excellent interpersonal skills, work to statutory deadlines whilst ensuring a quality service is delivered to children and young people.
