The Rookery Care Home in Ebbw Vale are currently seeking Care Assistant for full time or part time hours.
The Rookery Care Home is situated in a quiet residential area in Ebbw Vale, surrounded by gorgeous greenery at the head of the valley, just a short walk from the town centre and train station.
Our purpose-built care home with 41 bedrooms, offers residential and respite care solely for clients with dementia, delivered by our highly trained team in a safe and comfortable environment.
They say variety is the spice of life and at the Rookery our social activities will brighten up any day. A special feature of the home is our sensory garden which our residents love to explore or sit back and enjoy while relaxing on the patio with friends and family.

Genuine interest in working with the relevant Service Users group
•Good communication and organisation skills
•Confident team player
•Satisfactory Policy check and check against the SOVA list
•Ability to work on own initiative
•Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Program
•Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User Group (desirable but not essential)
•NVQ level 2 in care (desirable but not essential)
