Job description
Kinergy is a specialist counselling agency offering support for survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence. We provide trauma informed counselling, group therapy and a support group.
Kinergy is seeking a Business Coordinator to support the smooth operation of our services and be a warm and welcoming first point of contact for clients and professionals contacting Kinergy. This is a new post.
Making the office run smoothly requires top planning, organisational and intelligent problem-solving skills. It requires resilience and discretion. It provides huge opportunity for the right individual as they will be the conduit to the top of the office and will work, with credibility and assurance. As well as excellent administration, the individual needs to be a consistently reliable ambassador for Kinergy.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
Record all income and expenditure
Payment of invoices
Data Entry of all financial transactions
Human Resources:
All personnel files are updated with any staff or legislative changes
To ensure an accurate record of staff
To ensure maxim confidentiality of all personnel issues relating to Kinergy
To Recruit and manage all event and admin volunteers
Ensure that all new policies and procedures are observed by team members
Facilities Management and Health and Safety:
To ensure that all maintenance and IT issues are reported to the relevant contractors.
Ensure that all aspects of business administration are organised and orderly
To become a nominated first aider and fire warden
Ensure team members have up to date First Aid Registration Certificates
To ensure Kinergy is fully compliant with all health and safety obligations
To ensure that all routine maintenance checks are up to date
Ensure that all maintenance contractors are fulfilling their contractual obligations
Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
Governance:
Create and maintain spreadsheet of Kinergy’s policies and procedures
Ensure that all policies are reviewed in line with review dates
Undertake Data protection training to support the Data Protection Officer
Reception Duties:
Engaging with clients and supporting them in accessing our services
Welcoming clients and visitors in the building
Managing the telephone and answer phone and message taking
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £20,800.00 per year
