The role
There is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our sales team at Nettitude.
This role requires a highly motivated individual, who can work independently as well as working with our marketing, and Bid Management teams to generate sales opportunities.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from, lead generation, though to successful close of new business and cross selling to maximising sales opportunities.
You must be personable and be able to work in harmony with all other personnel and to communicate in an open and courteous manner with colleagues and customers.
Location
This role is remote. We can support working from across the UK. All applicants will require residence in the UK. The role will require the person to travel to customer sites and come into the office around 4/5 times a month for sales cadence/team meetings.
What you’ll be doing in your role:
- Building a sales pipeline in line with revenue targets set by the Head of Business Development
- Identify new prospects to onboard as new clients
- Work with Marketing to run targeted campaigns in order to onboard new clients
- Identify client needs and review their requirements in order to sell tailored solutions
- Construct and present tailored presentations/proposals to clients based on these requirements
- Manage existing accounts and expand client base
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets agreed with the Head of Business Development in line with group requirements
- Provide accurate forecasts to Head of Business Development on a weekly basis. Working with your Sales Support Executive, ensure the sales opportunity funnel is managed efficiently in CRM to ensure high quality of data and forecasting.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the competitive environment
- Ability to self-generate new business opportunities, as well as managing inbound sales requests
- Work closely with the Bid Team to provide support and input into RFP responses
- Liaise with existing clients to ensure relevant documentation is completed/returned (contracts, authorisation forms, account opening forms, etc).
- Achieve multiple contact points with your clients.
- Work closely with relevant Nettitude teams e.g., Project Management Office, to ensure smooth and well managed delivery of projects sold.
- Working with your Sales Support Executive, ensure all client data is entered onto CRM after every telephone call/client visit and all details regarding the client are populated.
- Strategic and cross selling to existing and new clients.
Key Skills:

- Demonstrable experience of working in new business sales.
- Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets.
- Strong written and speaking English skills.
- Experience of selling in the Cyber industry would be an advantage.
- Be able to deal confidently with C-Level contacts.
- Experience of working with a CRM system.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
