Boiler and Renewables Installation Manager
We are excited to be expanding our offerings to include gas and renewable energy solutions and are in search of a dynamic Installation Manager to lead the charge. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build and grow a team of skilled tradespeople and oversee our installation operations while striving to provide an unparalleled customer experience.
With your expertise in installation management, attention to detail, and passion for excellence, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective installation of a wide range of gas boilers and renewable energy systems, ordering and scheduling all necessary materials, and leading a team of installation engineers to deliver excellent customer service. You will be in charge of managing all aspects of the installation process, from coordinating with technical surveyors to ensure proper staffing and provisioning, to recruiting and onboarding additional installation personnel, to managing issues related to installations or materials.
As Installation Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Scheduling and coordinating the work of our installation team
· Recruiting and onboarding additional installation personnel
· Overseeing the procurement of materials to ensure successful completion of projects
· Collaborating with technical surveyors to ensure the proper provisioning of jobs.
· Managing issues related to installations or materials.
· Preparing detailed installation documentation and ensuring compliance with company and industry health and safety regulations
· Collecting customer feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the customer experience
· Ensure compliance with all necessary registration and certification requirements.
· Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
· Provide regular updates to the management team on the status of jobs and team performance.
· Promote a positive and productive work environment and foster teamwork.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Managerial experience with gas installation or contracts
· Higher level qualifications in gas installations.
· Strong commitment to customer service and a passion for delivering great results
· Self-motivated with ability to work independently and think outside the box.
· Experience with inventory management, order processing, and chasing, and a keen eye for detail
· Familiarity with workflow management systems for project management
· Flexible and reliable, and able to adapt to changing circumstances
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry accreditations.
· Strong leadership skills to motivate contractors and trades and keep team informed of timelines.
· Willingness to learn about new products and undergo relevant training
