Job description
We are looking for Groundworkers to start working on our projects within central Glasgow.
Rate of pay - £17.00- £20.00 dependant on experience.
Long term work for the right candidates.
CSCS Card is essential.
Duties:
- Perform various manual labour tasks to support construction and maintenance projects
- Assist with digging trenches, grading, and levelling ground surfaces
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as shovels, rakes, compactors, and jackhammers
- Assist with the installation of underground utilities and drainage systems
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Clean and maintain work areas
Skills:
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
