Job description
In this role, you will join our busy commercial team and play a vital part in ensuring the creation and delivery of the overall marketing plan and strategic business objectives. You will support the entire United Kingdom and Ireland team and will be involved in an interesting and varied range of projects and tasks. There will be a mixture of administrative tasks as well as project and campaign based work providing many opportunities to learn and develop.
What You Will be Doing:
- Supporting the business through effective management of the Marketing Inbox and direct line.
- Supporting the organisation, delivery and execution of marketing campaigns by taking a hands-on approach to a myriad of tasks, which go on behind the scenes to bring marketing initiatives to life.
- Responsible for the cost-effective sourcing and procurement from a wide range of suppliers.
- Ensuring adherence to internal brand guidelines as well as those of key customers.
- Facilitating the safe and efficient fulfilment and distribution of marketing and point of sale (POS) material to customers and colleagues.
- Maintaining a live inventory of marketing material and point of sale (POS) stock to ensure pre-agreed minimum stock levels are always met.
- Supporting with research, planning and evaluation of future marketing initiatives and present action focussed suggestions to the team, as required.
- Supporting with the preparation of and actively participate in briefings, carrying out resulting tasks and projects.
- Updating and owning the status and timelines for project plans and budget reports.
- Helping to coordinate the commercial presence at Trade and Consumer events across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Coordinating Trade and Consumer press advertising.
- Supporting in optimisation of digital channels – Websites, social media, online content.
- Supporting daily marketing departmental operations as required, striving for excellence and continuous improvement in all activities and interactions.
Person Specification (Essential)
Working in a fast paced customer and commercial team.
Liaising with a variety of stakeholders and balancing business priorities.
Experience in effective problem solving.
Experience of and confidence in using all Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
A working knowledge of popular social media sites and applications.

Educated to degree level with an emphasis on marketing/business.
Experience of working within a marketing department.
Seeks out opportunities for improvement.
Print and point of sale (POS) management experience.
Supplier negotiation and purchasing experience.
Special Requirements
Travel will be required outside of normal base location – passport required, driving licence mandatory.
