We are looking for candidates to work in Telford. Specifically: 1) Primary teachers 2) Secondary English and Maths teachers. 3) Science teachers.
We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging tutors with a passion for their subject and the progress of their student's development to help them to succeed in their studies and have fun along the way!
The Role
We are currently recruiting for tutors experienced in five main areas:
- Primary – English (literacy, handwriting, spelling, phonics). Ideally, the tutor can help with Maths at KS1 and KS2 as well
- Secondary – English, maths, Science
- GCSE– English, Maths, Science
- Special Education Needs – dyslexia, dyspraxia, autistic, ADHD and students with speech and language delays

Responsibilities:
- Treat students with dignity, build relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observe proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
- Committed tutors to conduct small group sessions with students and participate in creating and delivering bespoke tutoring programs
- Participate in creating and delivering bespoke tutoring on a one-to-one basis on-site or in the convenience of their own homes and/or online
- Liaise with the students, parents, colleagues, and the management team to understand students’ needs and goals
- Plan sessions accordingly and prepare material for session work, homework, assessments, exams
- Complete timely session reports and termly reports for parents.
- Ensure you are accessible and reliable, maintaining clear communication with clients and the management team
- Address student learning gaps and regularly recap learning elements to deepen student knowledge.

- Timely submission of tutoring session summary reports and any other reports
- You should commit to completing the tutoring programs to ensure learning continuity
- Deliver great tutoring lessons
- Have excellent communication skills

- Carry out any other ad hoc duties to assist this role.
- Perform care, compassion, empathy, and perseverance to all students. Support/monitor their wellbeing, finding the reason behind any failures and addressing them appropriately.
- Share ideas/resources among subject-specific colleagues to maintain consistency within the subject.
- Support and participate in training subject-specific colleagues to deliver tutoring programs effectively.
You would be paid a competitive hourly rate while working as an independent contractor. All successful candidates will be reference-checked to be compliant with child protection regulations.
