Commercial Head of Sales - ADT What you will do We have a rare opportunity to join the senior leadership team here at ADT. You will be a joining an exceptionally high performing team, having direct management of 9 passionate and engaged Sales Managers. On the back of an unprecedented growth last year, you will be expected to drive similar growth in this financial year though relentless reward and recognition, hard work in the field coupled with coaching and mentoring the Sales Managers/Consultants. As Commercial Head of Sales you will lead our ADT business in the Direct Commercial sales channel. You will be responsible for the identification and assessment of business/consumer insights that will lead to the development of fire and security solutions and services offerings to the SME market. The scope includes engaging and exciting branch and operations leadership behind these initiatives. You will also provide performance leadership in the commercial sales channel based upon the defined transactional sales activity KPI’s and lead a culture growth through new Customer acquisition. How you will do it The successful candidate will deliver business goals against common strategy to ensure continued business growth. You will analyse business & operational performance to achieve/ exceed financial and strategic goals whilst managing the performance of your dedicated sales organisation to generate business growth and position our brand as a recognised and trustable security provider. Your role will hold the responsibility to ensure that we have continued focus on the customer. Working with the marketing and product team who will provide quality solutions and services that exceed customer expectation you will coordinate channel activities to ensure we exceed our growth objectives. You will plan appropriately to ensure adequate depth/resources to meet business objectives coupled with the day to day direction and focus on priorities, objectives, and processes. You will be expected to provide leadership and communication across the organisation, ensuring engagement and alignment of senior leaders, working with internal and external partners to achieve target results. Collaboration between the Commercial channel and the rest of the JCI organisation is essential to ensure that the service to customer is maximized. You will naturally become the spokesperson for the business in driving market trends and future technology. Success will ensure you attain and exceed budgets for revenue growth and profitability, improve Sales efficiency and effectiveness resulting in higher sales productivity and performance. Your focus being driving growth of service contracts and recurring revenue. The individual will continually improve process and value proposition to increase retention of Monitoring accounts whilst driving a Zero Harm culture, building and sustaining a high performing team and building a culture aligned to JCI values and behaviours that ensures engagement and completion of core programs. What we look for For this role we need a strong sales oriented influencer with solid background in senior management. Ideally you will experience in a SME Sales environment focused on driving new business, couple with a successful track record in both. It would be advantageous to have previously sold/led a team selling a technical or solution led product. This candidate will have a strong leadership style with intrinsic motivation, positive charisma, a pro-active nature coupled with an understanding of business dynamics..
