We enjoy an international and national reputation for the quality of our teaching, our world class facilities and an enviable track record of graduate employment and alumni successes.
We have an opportunity for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This is an exciting time to join us as the purpose of this role is to help us to enhance and grow our social media presence across multiple social media channels and to ensure that we successfully launch into TikTok. The main duties include creating, scheduling, and editing, engaging and innovative social media content, enabling LIPA to showcase distinctive student, alumni, and staff activities to reinforce our reputation as a world leading centre of excellence for creative learning and vocational training. You will be joining a small team of staff within the corporate marketing team and will assist with forward planning and maintaining our social media calendar, alongside monitoring the effectiveness of our campaigns, benchmarking against competitors and making improvements as necessary. You will also assist with the administration of the photography that we commission for use across our marketing materials and help to maintain our asset management systems.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, be a clear and confident communicator, who loves social media, and is passionate about telling stories. You need strong copywriting skills, video production and editing skills, plus a good eye for design and detail. You will also be a people person, with the confidence to talk to students, staff, and alumni, to put them at ease and encourage them to be involved in photography and video content.
In return we offer a highly creative working environment that will inspire you to fulfil your potential and training opportunities to develop your skills and experience, competitive salary commensurate with experience, pension, generous holiday entitlements, and complimentary tickets to our inhouse productions.
