We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry.
This is a temporary contract with potential to transfer onto a permanent contract.
Working 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of:
- Mornings 07:00-15:00 Monday-Friday
- Afternoons 15:00-23:00 Monday-Friday
The salary is £26,790.43 per year with development opportunities.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Use a variety of CNC machines to produce high quality cylinder blocks.
- Working with machinery.
- Working within a team.
- Following all H&S processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Previous experience of operating CNC machines to produce high quality parts would be an advantage but full training is provided.
- Successful candidates will possess the ability to understand instruction and work under their own initiative within the recognised process, with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
- They will be PC or Handheld Terminal literate with a good appreciation of quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive or engineering desirable but training will be given.
