THE ROLE

The Digital Analyst role will be part of a newly formed Insights & Analytics team responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting app & website performance and user journeys, enabling insight self-serve for all business stakeholders.

Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, this role will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with team like Product, UX/design, Data Engineering, BI, Developers, Digital Marketing, Trading on a variety of data projects, from ad-hoc analysis to roadmap and testing prioritisation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Help shape and develop analytics reporting (weekly/monthly) and dashboards for web/apps to enable data self-serve for the business:

  • Marketing channel and regional traffic performance
  • Product Release performance
  • Traffic segmentation: full price, sale
  • Shopping & Checkout funnel
  • Product & Listing pages
  • Content pages

Work with senior stakeholders to define project/reporting KPIs

  • Develop good relationships and be the go-to person for any web analytics reporting
  • Identify and educate stakeholders on KPIs to use

Ad hoc analysis

Analyse key customer journeys across web and app for Product and Marketing teams to:

  • Help understand campaign performance
  • Identify pain-points for visitors and areas of improvement for Product team
  • Understand interactions with key areas like PDP & Checkout

Marketing Attribution Modelling

  • Develop and review custom attribution models to help better understand paid channel contribution and how to improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

Analytics Implementation

  • Support in web analytics tracking design & implementation
  • Perform regular site walks to identify any web/app tracking issues
  • Assist in automating tracking QA

Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in the web analytics function of a digital & transactional business
  • Google Analytics (UA / GA4)
  • Strong SQL skills (writting advanced complex queries in BigQuery)
  • Experience with data visualisation and visualisation tools (DataStudio, Tableau Desktop, Looker or PowerBI)
  • Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI etc)
  • Experience with web and app analytics and tracking
  • Understanding of datalayer and tag debugging
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Ability to efficiently prioritise workload and work on multiple projects
  • Strong commercial awareness of the industry and tracking best practises
  • Experience working in the fashion retail sector would be highly advantageous
