Job description
DSL Group (Nottingham) Limited are seeking a Data Analyst who is skilled in using a range of data to help make important insight-based business decisions and drive customer value across all teams and functions, including Operations, HR, Finance, Digital, Sales & Marketing.
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for contributing to analyses across DSL, focusing specifically on developing analytical capability and ensuring the use of the best available methods and standards to deliver credible statistics across all disciplines. You will transform the way individuals use data and enable DSL to make more data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify data sources to meet DSL’s requirements
- Cleanse and manage data
- Analyze, interpret, and identify trends or patterns in data sets
- Produce actionable insight from data analysis
- Produce standard and non-standard statistical and data analysis reports
- Clearly and convincingly present a range of solutions derived from assessing data
- Build skills and capabilities to analyze, interrogate, and present technical data to provide informed and valuable business insights to a range of stakeholders
- Prepare reports based on analysis and present to management
- Develop records management processes and policies
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
- Set up and maintain automated data processes
- Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation
- Be an active and positive contributor to the team, always willing to represent the Data Analyst Team and go the extra mile.
