The CopyHouse team is growing and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team!
The role overview
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Overall responsibility for building and maintaining strategic business partnerships and managing the sales pipeline including defining the sales processes, creating proposals, and organizing the team for pitches
- Utilise new and existing networks to generate business opportunities and drive our growth
- Build and develop lasting relationships with our existing and new clients, with the ability to grow existing client accounts through client-specific business development plans
- Work with our Marketing team to seek out new business opportunities and be comfortable discovering, pitching and closing business deals
- Attend networking events and conferences to help the business build fresh new contacts. Some travel to London is required (2-3x per month)
- Present our services to prospects at our own events and industry events
- Provide accurate, monthly reports on sales performance; based on targets and KPIs
- Act as an ambassador for CopyHouse, ensuring our brand is presented in the best possible way
Your professional skills
What we need from you:
- Previous experience working as a Business Development Manager
- Knowledge of the technology/FinTech industry and of emerging digital trends
- An open and inviting attitude that builds great working relationships
- Willingness to travel to attend in-person events (2-3x per month at least in London and occasionally further afield)
- A strong service sales background with experience reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional presentation and pitching skills
- A valid passport for any potential overseas travel!

The finer details
As a company, CopyHouse is currently working on a trial 4-day work week basis. This role will still be classed as a full-time position, but as part of the 4-day work week trial, the working hours would be between 32-35 per week (to be discussed in more detail as part of the application process).
We’re a fully-remote company and flexible working team, but for this role will need in-person attendance to the various events as mentioned above.
Base salary from £31k – £34k + commission (dependent on your experience level).
