Job Title: Lab Assistant (Rota)

Location: Queen Alexandra Rd, High Wycombe HP11 2TT

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (rota 24/7) 37.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Band 2 Lab Assistant to join our Pharmacy Team at Wycombe Hospital.

The team are looking for conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join the laboratory team in providing Blood Science services at Wycombe Hospital. Working in different areas within Blood Sciences, duties will include collecting, checking and labelling of specimens, filing, and some data input duties. You will also undertake some specimen preparation and general laboratory duties.

Responsibilities include:

· Collecting Lab Specimens

· Labelling Specimens

· Filing

· Data Entry

· Specimen Preparation

· General Lab Duties

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

· Team Player

· Flexible approach to work

· Good Communicator, written and verbal

· Basic Microsoft Packages

· Strong organiser

· Lab experience preferred not essential
