University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust is one of the largest and most successful hospitals in the region offering both general and specialist services across our two hospital sites, University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby. As our team is expanding with exiting new projects, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of our stimulating Strategic Delivery Portfolio which encompasses all our transformational, digital and strategic change programmes and projects. As part of the Strategy Directorate, you will work in collaboration with our Strategy and Comms & Engagement teams as well as our Transformation directorate colleagues to support the organisation in the delivery of our strategic objectives. 1. Support the successful delivery of the small projects within an acute hospital environment, managing conflicting demands, whilst minimising any potential disruption or disturbance to patients, staff, or other visitors. 2. Planning, co-ordination, and management (including of small budgets) of a number of different projects or work streams at any time. This will include liaison with various key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the demands of the Trust are appropriately met. 3. Developing and monitoring projects using project management tools and templates ensuring appropriate reporting at all levels. 4.Effectively document and monitor project risks in line with organisation priorities. Awareness of mitigation and contingency planning. Support the identification, documentation, and monitoring of benefits to ensure projects deliver against agreed deliverables. Promote the use of Trust project management tools and systems, including PM3, and gain the knowledge to become an expert user who is able to assist clinical and corporate teams. 8. To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to projects 9. Ability to respond to stakeholder needs and support the identification of appropriate service developments 10. Ability to work effectively and simultaneously across a range of operational areas.
