The Role
You'll become part of one of our friendly and dedicated teams who supports five individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities who live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication. You'll also provide support with their hobbies and interests too, including music, arts & crafts and activities and walks out in their local community.
About You

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to build an amazing career within the Health & Social Care sector. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!
All we’ll need you to bring is: -
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- An excellent grasp of the English language (written & spoken)
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, our services do support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns will usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0800-2100 hours and will include weekends, public holidays and sleepovers on a rotational basis.
Our sleepovers don’t form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £84 for every sleepover shift you work.
Please note that we are unable to work this contracted post around a university or college timetable.
