An exciting opportunity has arisen within ICST EK for a Band 4 healthcare support worker, working across Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. The successful candidate will have experience of working in physiotherapy or relevant clinical area, or have relevant qualifications such as physiology and anatomy, therapeutic exercise, treatment planning and working with relevant patient groups. They will have a keen interest in developing assessment skills and enjoy working as part of a team. The successful candidate will also have a clear understanding of occupational therapy and be keen to develop their knowledge and skills in this area.
A car driver with a full UK/EU driving licence plus access to their own car is essential.
Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health / education / social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.
