About us
Adams Gas are a leading bottled gas supplier of Calor gas, Propane, Butane, patio gas, BBQ gas bottle refills, helium for balloons, beer and cellar gas, TIG Welding gas, MIG gas, welding gases, CO2 for Hydroponics, Acetylene gas alternative, as well as gas canister refills, Nitrogen gas bottles, Nitrogen cylinders and many other types of bottle gas. We supply our gas products via our large stockist network throughout the UK, and also offer a local delivery service in Kent, East Sussex and South London.
Based at Margate delivering gas cylinders to multiple drops throughout Kent and South London. Typically, you will have between 14 - 20 drops per day.
Full Time Drivers / Yardman / Forklift Driver required.
Experienced drivers required to work from our Margate location.
Must have current driving liscence to drive vehicles up to 3.5 Tonnes and a valid counterbalance forklift liscence.
If you have a good geographical knowledge of the Kent and previous experience of delivery driving, then you already have a great advantage.
ADR (hazardous) training can be provided, but is a great advantage if you already have this
Minimum 40-hour week Mon/Fri.
No Saturday or Sunday hours

The position requires:
Delivering of gas cylinders into residential, Industrial, and commercial addresses
Loading and unloading of own vehicle
Completing daily safety checks
Completing delivery paperwork, showing cylinders delivered and empties collected.
Yard work which might include:
- Using a forklift to load and unlaod vehicles
- Keep yard tidy
- Make up orders
- Plus other duties
Overtime when required, usually no more than 3 hours per week.
