Vibe Recruit are looking for Production Assembly Operatives to work with our client who are based in Rumney, Cardiff.
Responsibilities:
- Accept responsibility for the quality of the work you produce.
- Always work to the highest quality standards.
- Comply with health & safety, housekeeping, environmental, quality, and human resources policies and procedures.
- Record the quantity produced and materials used accurately and promptly in the Vantage system.
- Train other team members to operate equipment or carry out production tasks safely and to the required quality standards.
- Learn new skills as required so that the production team can be flexible.
- Ensure that your workplace is maintained in a safe and tidy condition throughout the working day, and particularly at the end of each shift.
- Ensure you understand the risk assessments and safe working practices for your area.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.
Plus occasional 8 hour overtime shift offered on a Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.
Salary: £10.50 per hour increasing to £11.76 per hour following successful probation period. Plus Friday's overtime shift paid at x1.5 overtime rate = £15.75 per hour.
The successful candidate will be confident using hand and power tools and have proven experience working within a similar manufacturing environment.
