Junior C# Applications Developer

We specialise in developing an industry leading web based Housing and Finance platform that uses state-of-the-art development technologies to remain future-proof and continue to meet the ever-evolving needs of the Social Housing Sector.
About the role
You’ll be working with our dedicated development team to continually enhance our products that are developed within C# Asp.net utilising a SQL Database.
The successful applicant for this position will work closely with our Chief Technology Officer & Chief Operating Officer.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that high standards are continually achieved and helping to refine the architecture, API and coding standards, and maintaining the high quality our customers have come to expect from us.
This role is full time and based at our offices in Milton Keynes (free parking available).
Skills and Requirements
Required Key Skills
- Commercial development experience building applications using C#, ASP.NET.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with source control systems, preferably Microsoft Visual Studio.
Key Competencies
- A strong problem-solver.
- You should be able to write high-quality, clean fully commented code.
- Good organisation and planning skills; with an ability to provide estimates on tasks and any protentional project risks to stakeholders.
- Sound communication/interpersonal skills, with an ability to provide clear reporting on the status of projects and a flair in communicating technical decisions and problems to project stakeholders.
- Good personal skills: someone that is responsible, reliable, motivated, and committed to the role.
- You will act with integrity, and as a credible ambassador for Designer Software Ltd ensuring effective delivery of quality standards and targets through team working.
Package details
- Office based, Full-time, Permanent (Monday – Friday)
- Salary circa £30K per annum depending on experience
- 25 days paid holiday
