The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland’s national awarding and accreditation body. We are trusted to oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.
We are looking for an Events Management Administrator to work within the Operations directorate in our Logistics & Customer Engagement team.
The successful candidates will be required to provide high quality customer service and administrative support to enable the effective delivery of SQA events. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and ensure compliance with documented processes within an events environment
- Create and maintain records, standard reports and Excel spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate
- Provide a high level of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following SQA guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Be able to operate Microsoft Office packages at the appropriate level for this role including MS Teams
- Be able to represent SQA in an external capacity and deal with clients and suppliers at all levels
- Comfortable in speaking with stakeholders both face to face and on the phone.
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (Higher/SVQ3) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
