Job description
Job Title: Marketing & Agency Assistant
We want to be the best, most responsible marketing people in the business and we're looking for a part-time 'work from home' Marketing & Agency Assistant to join our rapidly growing virtual team. This is a maternity cover role, to start with, until the end of 2023, with the option to extend this to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
You’ll be doing everything needed to support the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity within a busy agency. That means helping with specific campaigns and projects, assisting with social media (our own as well as our clients’) as well as providing general administrative support.
Some of the things you’ll be doing…
- Supporting members of the ELE team, involving all areas of general administration and support with client projects
- Maintaining social media accounts, and helping with website updates and content
- Creation of content (social media, visual and perhaps even some blogging, if writing is your thing)
- Coordinating collateral and content to support business development
- Support with research projects - for example, collating information on client competitors, logging directory deadlines and background research for blogs and white papers
- Reporting on client and internal marketing activities
- Project administration on our project management system, Teamwork.com
- Maintaining and updating databases within our CRM system, Teamwork CRM
- Supporting with email marketing campaigns through Mailerlite
What we’re looking for…
- Are you looking for a career in an agency?
- Do you have professional marketing or administrative experience? Ideally B2B, including some digital marketing?
- Do you have good IT skills e.g. Word, MS Office. Some experience of SEO, CMS (Wordpress) and Canva would be helpful. Experience with Teamwork.com would be even better but isn’t essential.
- Do you love words, writing and communicating? Excellent communication skills, including good writing and grammar are a must.
- Are you organised, with good attention to detail, able to work on varied projects and tasks and happy doing all this from home?
- Are you passionate about purposeful and responsible marketing? And do you want to help brands grow while making a difference at the same time?
- Do you have previous experience of working within the legal sector? It’s certainly beneficial but isn’t essential.
Salary depending on experience - £20-25k pro rata. This is a part time position for ten to sixteen hours per week, depending on what you’re looking for. Although we welcome applicants from anywhere we’re particularly keen to hear from UK-based people in rural locations.

How to apply
Please send CV and covering letter, explaining who you are, why you want to work for us and why you're so interested in working in a marketing agency FAO Helen Foord at [email protected]. This bit is important… if you skip it and just apply through LinkedIn we won’t consider your application because you’ll have demonstrated that you haven’t read this properly… which would be a shame… harsh but (we think) fair.
About ELE
A certified B Corp, we’re the first communications agency to specialise in the professional services, responsibility and purpose. In plain English that means that we work with law firms, chambers, accountants and other professional services to help them to grow and implement strategic development and marketing plans that are responsible. And we help them pass this on to their clients through the ways they communicate, manage relationships and deliver their own expertise. You can find out more about us on https://www.ele.rocks/about-us/
One of the things that sets ELE apart from other agencies is our virtual structure. In plain English that means we don’t have offices and everyone works from home. Don’t worry – the people we work with aren't stuck on their own. We work hard to make sure everyone feels part of the team, whether through use of technology or even (when we’re allowed) face-to-face coworking and meetups.
